Tom Kefalas
LA Metro Environmental Alignment for 2023 and Beyond
Tom is an original Angelino, born and raised in the south bay and attended college locally at CSULB.
Tom has been with LA Metro for over 20 years and has over 30 years of experience in environmental engineering /compliance programs and environmental construction support. Prior to METRO Tom managed environmental programs with Federal Aviation Administration and the US Air Force in addition to various consulting work experience with private firms. Tom considers himself fortunate to be part of a $20 B regional transportation renaissance here at LA Metro fueled by Los Angeles County Measures R and M and is currently managing the compliance and sustainability staff across LA Metro’s Capital Projects program which touches on all aspects of the environmental spectrum.
